Masjid As-salam

Pre-K to Grade 8

Our Curriculum Overview

A Commitment to Excellence

The Weekend Islamic School offers 3 parts throughout the year. Every Sunday is planned to reach the end goal of that level.

Whether it is our books or hands-on training, we make sure each student gets personal attention to cope up and flourish in every subject for better scores and a brighter future.

The curriculum focuses on teaching Islamic values including Quran and duas, salah, morals, and their practical application, utilizing different methods and teaching tools. The book used is published by Darussalam, specially designed for weekend schools. The series will cover all areas of Islamic studies: Tafseer, hadeeth, Tawheed, fiqh, seerah, and general etiquette relating to different areas and situations.

The curriculum focuses on proper Quranic recitation with Tajweed rules, emphasizing Makharij and Siffat al huroof, along with basic translation and tafsir. At this level, students will focus on the chapters (juz Amma & few more Chapters) given in the Textbooks along with Qaida Nooorania.

The curriculum for Arabic teaches students to expand on the vocabulary, reading and writing skills, and overall grammar in the Arabic language.
